Dr. Murad Ali, Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) media adviser, called upon April 6 Youth movement to review its tactics and moral code, and evaluate their own approach in Friday protests when its members waved underwear like banners at the doorstep of the interior minister’s house.

Dr. Ali considered the underwear tactics a symptom of moral collapse worse than last week’s insult to the President when they spread animal feed in front of his house.

"Sanctity of the home must never be violated in the name of political disputes or opposition activity. We must never forget our basic morality, the code of ethics by which the great people of Egypt have been raised. We were together the opposition challenging the repressive tyrant Mubarak for decades, but we never abandoned our morals.

"I hope honorable young people shall not get caught up in a complete moral collapse."
