FJP Secretary Ibrahim: Achieving Revolution Goals Not in Standing Against Will of the People
As a group of ‘protesters’ mobilize to oust elected President Morsi, amid gleeful hopeful cheers from certain opposition figures, the FJP reminds that hard work will achieve the revolution’s goals, not absurd rebellion.

In a press statement, Hussein Ibrahim, Secretary-General of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), said: "Achieving the goals of the revolution will only happen through hard work, production and rebuilding, and not by standing against the will of the people.

"I salute all those who work and build in order to complete the objectives of the revolution, including the Shura Council and its members who carry on their shoulders the responsibility of legislation in the difficult democratic transition phase that Egypt is going through."

Ibrahim affirmed that FJP MPs are cooperating with colleagues in parliament to enact legislation that meets the needs of the people and reform its institutions, and that they will not neglect any of the duties imposed on them by the Constitution, and will not allow any authority to intervene in their business – in accordance with the Constitution.
