Today at 3 am police officers started shooting heavily at the protesters on their way back to Rabaa Al-Adaweya. The shooting took place from inside Nasser City Police Station I. Police forces dressed in uniform also attacked protesters in Al-Nahda Square, in front of Cairo University, killing and injuring a number of people.

Pro-coup news outlets began to spread rumors that Rabaa Al-Adaweya protesters have detained a number of police officers, which we confirm is completely false news.

The protesters confirmed that there are no detainees in Rabaa Al-Adaweya. They stressed on continuing their peaceful protests in Rabaa Al-Adaweya and any attempt to evacuate Rabaa Al-Adaweya under any excuse will be the direct responsibility of leaders of the coup, particularly General Abdelfattah Al-Sisi and the Minister of Interior Mohamed Ibrahim.
