The Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance said it appreciated and saluted the revolutionary steadfastness of the true hero, the legitimate President of Egypt Mohamed Morsi and other fellow revolutionaries.

In a statement by one of its leaders, the Alliance denounced the continuation of farcical trials against the shining symbol of legendary steadfastness, the elected President Mohamed Morsi and his fellow revolutionaries. The Alliance also condemned the continued targeting of free and honorable men and women of Egypt with repressive verdicts that have nothing to do with the provisions of the law.

The Alliance further stressed that peaceful protest activities in support of those free patriotic men and women, especially President Morsi, will continue to reject the repeated sessions of these show trials. It pointed that decisions which determine events on the ground are left to revolutionaries, in order to achieve the people's demands and goals. No amount of coup repression or junta terror will intimidate the free and loyal men and women of Egypt.

The Alliance asked: "If the courts are afraid of the legitimate President's voice, why hold all these sessions? Why waste public funds?" in reference to the new junta maneuver of placing President Morsi in a sound-proof glass cage during hearings of the sham trials against him.
