Dr. Amr Darrag, leading member of both the Freedom and Justice Party and the Anti-Coup Pro-Legitimacy National Alliance and Minister of International Cooperation in President Mohamed Morsi's government, condemned strongly and unequivocally the deadly explosions that went off Wednesday outside Cairo University – near Nahda Square (west of Cairo).

In a tweet, Dr. Darrag said: "Islam is innocent of these terrorist acts. How can anyone plant four bombs in places with heavy security presence like this? We all must join together to face up to this terror.

"The revolutionary movement of our students is and will remain peaceful. I really appreciate the spokesman of Students Against Coup's denunciation of this cowardly act."
