The anti-coup, pro-democracy Independence of the Judiciary Front affirmed that the ruling by the Administrative Court's Political Parties Affairs Department to dissolve the Freedom and Justice Party is totally null and void in form and substance, due to the absence of the judicial branch in Egypt since July 3, 2013 (the start of the military coup) and due to current judges issuing sentences, verdicts and rulings with total disregard for the law and legal process and under the coercion of the military's repressive regime in an era of falsehood, corruption and terror in Egypt.

The Front demanded that justice Farid Nazeeh Tanagho, who issued the ruling, be referred to a special committee to investigate him for violating legal proceedings and issuing an evidently flawed politicized ruling.

The Front said that all the judges involved in the issuance of legally flawed decisions related to the political conflict in Egypt and who colluded in mass killings have no place in the judiciary when reform restores its independence, and the Competence Committee will ultimately decide their inevitable fate.
