Names of 16 Dakahlia Citizens Taken by Junta Forces in Egypt in Just Two Days

Activists on social networking websites documented the forced disappearance of 16 citizens from Egypt's Dakahlia Province after ferocious junta security raids, on September 16 and 17. Those 'disappeared' citizens are: 1. Ashraf Laithi – French language teacher, from the town of Belqas.
2. Saad Mahmoud Abdel-Ghani, 52 years old – Azhar University Deputy, unfairly sacked. He was previously arrested, and released three years ago. He is from Meit Antar.
3. Salah Abdel-Mawla, 52 – employee of the Ministry of Education, unfairly sacked. He is from Meit Antar.
4. Mohamed Albatal, 35 – freelancer, from the village of Shernqash.
5. Abdel-Galil Ibrahim, 53 – authorized marriage registry official, from the village of Kafr Bessat.
6. Mohamed Saeed – elderly pensioner, from Menyat Al-Nasr.
7. Mahmoud Abdel-Wahid, 38 – power plant employee, from Meit Antar.
8. Ali Taha El-Saadani, 63 – from Menyat Al-Nasr.
9. Alsotouhi Khalil, 55 – from Menyat Al-Nasr.
10. Fatehi Ali Pasha, 62 – from Menyat Al-Nasr.
11. Abdel-Rahman Magdi Mossaad, 20 – first year student at the Faculty of Arabic Language, from Darrassat area.
12. Hassan Al-Adl, from the Courts Complex area.
* The following four were forcibly disappeared on September 7, 2016:
13. Mohamed Safwat Kishta, 20 years old – second year student, Faculty of Engineering, from Menyat Al-Nasr.
14. Yahya Mansour Sharqawi, 20 – second year student, Faculty of Engineering, from Menyat Al-Nasr.
15. Khaled Samaha, 21 – student at Azhar University's Faculty of Sharia and Law, from Talkha.
16. Mohamed Amin, from Talkha. |
