The following is a press statement by the Muslim Brotherhood Spokesman, Dr Talaat Fahmi, on the arrest of 3 women in Alexandria, on Monday November 27, 2017

“It is the ultimate obscenity and shame when the brute power goes in full force to arrest, torture, detain, and abuse women.

On Monday evening, the coup authorities in Alexandria, arbitrarily arrested two women and a girl, searched them in the most humiliating manner, then assaulted them and took them to Al Raml police detention station where they’re being held for 15 days.

All this happens while the world commits itself to silence, ignoring its alleged values”

Dr.. Talaat Fahmy

Spokesman for the Muslim Brotherhood
