It seems that both the judges and Minister of Justice, Mamdouh Mar’ei, have become locked in a fierce judicial battle now that the Minister ignored all contacts made or messages posted by the Judges’ Club on judicial reforms and other demands aiming to enhance the financial and social status of judges.

The Judges’ Club decided to persist with its demands to defend the interests of judges in particular and the country in general without regard to the negative position adopted by the Ministry of Justice.

In an exclusive statement to Ikhwanweb, Chairman of Alexandria Judges Club, Justice Mahmoud el Khodairy, said that the Judges Club is elected by the majority of judges, so its members see it incumbent on them to adopt and fulfill all of their demands. el Khodairy added that Chairman of the Judges Club Zakareya Abdul Aziz has sent a number of letters to the Minister of Justice communicating the judges’ demands, especially the construction a new premises for the judges in Qatameya, Cairo, which was approved by both the Prime Minister and Cairo Governor. Khodairy added that the Judges’ Club will spare no effort to protect the Judges’ rights and realize their demands
