Jordanian Parliament demanded that Russia back up on its decision to enroll the Muslim Brotherhood group (Ekhwan Al Muslmeen) on its list of terrorism.

The parliament considered this an unfair decision, reported the Jordanian News Agency. It affirmed that the group in Jordan represents a decent charitable organization with nothing to do with any terrorist practices.
The group is a part of the national Jordanian structure and an essential component of the performance of the state, stated the parliament.
The council valued the Jordanian-Russian friendship, yet demanded omitting the Russian decision and working on strengthening cooperation ties between Russia and its country and the Arab and Islamic world.
