Abdel-Monem Mahmoud and 3 other MB Released After Five-Month Detention
A Cairo court on Saturday August 19, 2006, ordered the release of four Muslim Brotherhood members after five months in jail. Two of the four released today were detained while they were taking a train from their town to Cairo and were accompanying MB Member of Parliament Hisham el Kadhi.

A Cairo court on Saturday August 19, 2006, ordered the release of four Muslim Brotherhood members after five months in jail. Two of the four released today were detained while they were taking a train from their town to Cairo and were accompanying MB Member of Parliament Hisham el Kadhi.
The two other released MB members were jailed against the background of an MB case topped by MB leadership and university professor Dr. Rashad Bayoumi.

Muslim Brotherhood lawyer Abdul Monem Abdul Maksoud
hailed the court ruling but said he still hopes the release of
all detainees and stop of the detention campaigns the
recent of which was the arrest toady of 17 Muslim Brotherhood while paying a visit to a university professor in Menoufya governorate.
