Akef Denies MB Undergoing Military Training
In an interview with Paris- based Al Watan el Arabi newspaper, MB Chairman Mohamed Mahdi Akef affirmed that the Muslim Brotherhood devote their efforts to reforme themselves and their society, saying that the military training falls within the state’s responsibility“ It is the state’s responsibility to train its people to defend their country, as it was the case in 1948 when the government trained members of the Muslim Brotherhood and allowed them to join the fight in Palestine”.

In an interview with Paris- based Al Watan el Arabi newspaper, MB Chairman Mohamed Mahdi Akef affirmed that the Muslim Brotherhood devote their efforts to reforme themselves and their society, saying that the military training falls within the state’s responsibility“ It is the state’s responsibility to train its people to defend their country, as it was the case in 1948 when the government trained members of the Muslim Brotherhood and allowed them to join the fight in Palestine”.


He also said that the Muslim Brotherhood members are ready to sacrifice their lives to defend their countries when needed, reaffirming that the group backs resistacne which defends the nation against the usurpers and occupiers.


He criticized the Arab regimes for their alliance with the Zionists against the resistance represented by Hamas and Hizbullah, as well as the legitimate resistance in Iraq.


Mr. AKef hailed as steadfast the Egyptian people, saying that in spite for their economic constraints, they donated millions of pounds to the resistance in the rally organized by the Arab Doctors Union.
