The National Committee for Solidarity with Lebanon and Palestine (NCSLP) posted all syndicates, trade unions, popular political movements and all the civil society establishments to send their representatives to take part in the preparatory meeting to be held at seven p.m., on Saturday August 12, 2006 at the Press Syndicate, Cairo. The meeting is aimed to set the scene for the expanded popular conference scheduled one week after this meeting at most. The committee said in its invitation that one massive and all inclusive demonstration is much more effective than ten little ones. The NCSLP embraces political and social forces from 18 syndicates, civil societies and political parties, foremost among which are Muslim Brotherhood and representatives from Wafd, Tajammu, Wassat, Kifaya and Arab Nasserite Parties, as well as Press Syndicate and Bar Association and many other political study centers. |
