The Freedom Committee of the Lawyers Syndicate is organizing a major conference on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 6:00 PM, in solidarity with political detainees. Several political groups and parties will participate, including the Muslim Brotherhood and Kefaya (Enough), in addition to several other political parties; Labor, Karama (Dignity), and Al Ghad (Tomorrow).

There will be a documentary exhibition illustrating police brutality against demonstrators during the solidarity activities with the judges. Ikhwanweb encourages the media and human rights activists to attend the conference in order to shed more light on the conditions of hundreds of unjustly detained political activists whose only crime is exercising their constitutional right of freedom of expression.
