In Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious
"Believers are but a signal brotherhood: so make peace and reconciliation between your two (contending) brothers." (94, 10)

The Muslim Brotherhood expresses its utmost concern after the blast of the dome of Imam Ali Al Hadi and his son Imam Hassan Al Askari (prominent shiite scholars) shrine in Iraq for its reprisals, and condemns and denounces these acts. The Muslim Brotherhood appeals to the Iraqi brethrens, Shiites and Sunnis, to be aware of the conspiracy that targets the entire Iraqi people by joining hand in hand against this turmoil that may damage every thing. Iraqis should work to halt any potential repercussions and attempt to foster the sense of brotherhood and intimacy acting in accordance with the Almighty Allah’s saying "and hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah’s favor on you; for ye were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His grace, ye became brethrens." (3,103)

We invoke Allah to protect Iraq and Iraqis and to unify them because "Allah Hath full Power and Control over His affaires; but most among mankind know it not." (12, 21)
