Habeeb: Arabs should Support Hamas Financially

The Muslim Brotherhood’s deputy leader Muhammad Habeeb urged Arabs and Muslims to offer materialistic and emotional support for the Palestinians who face an Israeli and Western campaign to deprive the Palestinian Authority of cash in retaliation for electing Hamas through a democratic process
 
’We urge Egyptians, Islamic and Arab nations, and free people all over the world to support Palestinians in their conflict with Israel.  The US and the EU in collaboration with the Zionist entity (Israel) apply an economical squeeze on Palestinians by withholding funds as a punishment for their choice of the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas in recent elections’ Habeeb stated to Ikhwan online.
 
’We also exhort Arab and Islamic regimes to play significant role in this respect and not to yield to Western pressures,’ Habeeb added.
 
Habeeb also stressed that the Muslim Brotherhood does not receive donations but only encourages the grassroot organizations and associations to make donations through the authorized institutions such as the Red Crescent and the Arab League.
 
This call comes in spirit that the Palestinians, who fight the Zionist-American agenda in the Islamic and Arab worlds, do not only defend their liberty but also the dignity and the sacred objects of the entire Islamic nation.
