In Bandar Sohag constituency, police hindered voting process under the
pretext of having order among voters. Two female Brotherhood’s backers
were
detained, in addition. The representatives of the Brotherhood’s
nominees
were denied access to polling centers. The voting process was
remarkably
slowed down. The polling station no 157 vote was suspended for 15
minutes.

In some cases, voters found their names on the electoral registers
signed
before giving vote; accordingly, they were not entailed to cast
ballot.

In Tama constituency, the security presence was very notable. Two
passers-by were put under arrest for they were thought to be of the
Brothers. In el-Riania village, the National Democratic Party’s
candidate
urged voters not to elect the Muslim Brotherhood’s nominee. In
el-Hasana
village, frauds for the favor of the NDP’ candidate were suspected.
Astonishingly, a supervisory judge pushed voters for selecting the NDP
nominee; moreover, he checked ballot papers before being cast in
polling
boxes.

In Mashta village, a state security officer granted only the NDP’s

stations no. 156 and 157 were closed, meanwhile.

In Maraga constituency, voters found no outlet but to jump over fences
of
polling stations to cast ballots.

In polling center no. 35, located in the village of the Brotherhood’s
nominee, electorate were completely blocked; a situation which incited
the
overseeing judge to appeal to the president of the general electoral
commission to find out a solution.
