Daqhlia: Judges are Assaulted, Polling Boxes are Burnt

Backed by security officers, a group of thugs bodily attacked three judges in Belqas constituency; Khaled Abdel Aziz, Hany Mokhtar and Ahmed Abdel Aziz.  The assaulted judges affirmed that policemen witnessed the thuggery instances but gave the cold shoulders to them. Accordingly, the three judges lodged complaints against the attacks to the president of the general electoral commission of the constituency.

On the other hand, in Deshasha village, 17 of Brothers were put under arrest. Police keep out the Muslim Brotherhood’s supporters, lifting their cordon only when the ruling National Democratic Party’s backers show up.

The situation in el-Shbol village is still increasingly troubled. Eight polling boxes are set ablaze, for example. In protest against blockage of voters, supervisory judges in el-Sanaya School called off the vote. Meanwhile, detention of Brotherhoods continues.
