The Hamas Movement on Thursday asked PA chief Mahmoud Abbas to prove his seriousness in calling for dialogue and to announce commitment to unconditional national dialogue to confront the Israeli escalation and to preserve unity of the Palestinian people.

Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, one of the Hamas spokesmen in the Gaza Strip, said in a press release that his Movement demands the immediate dismissal of the illegitimate government of Salam Fayyad and asks Abbas to respect the legitimate government of Ismail Haneyya until a new national unity government is approved and then tabled with the PLC.

He also asked Abbas to stop negotiations with the Hebrew state, which only provided Israel with political cover to continue its crimes against the Palestinian people.

The blood of the Fayyad family and the Qassam Mujahideen that was spilled by IOF hands in Gaza at dawn Thursday along with the incessant incursions in the West Bank the latest of which was today in Nablus posed as a shame on Salam Fayyad, who is targeting resistance, denouncing its operations and regretting the killing of IOF soldiers, Abu Zuhri charged, holding Abbas responsible for positions of the premier of his illegally appointed-government.
