IOF shelling wound seven Palestinian resistance fighters

Seven Palestinian resistance fighters, mostly affiliated with the Qassam Brigades the armed wing of the Hamas Movement, were wounded at dawn Thursday in an IOF aerial shelling east of Khan Younis to the south of the Gaza Strip.Medical sources told PIC correspondent that six missiles were fired at the Mujahideen and wounded seven of them before IOF troops advanced into the area.

Eyewitnesses said that IOF units shelled the vicinity of a civilian home where a group of Mujahideen were entrenched in addition to another position for them.Local sources said that a man was killed in the shelling but medical crews could not reach his body due to the continued IOF shelling and troop advance.Resistance fighters fired RPGs and mortar shells at the advancing soldiers who were backed by heavy air cover.

The soldiers occupied the rooftops of civilian houses in the area.Meanwhile, a Palestinian citizen was killed at the hands of IOF soldiers near the security fence surrounding the northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanun on Wednesday night.Medical sources told PIC that medical teams evacuated the man"s body but could not identify him yet. Seven other Palestinians were killed in IOF shelling on Wednesday.
