Three Palestinian fighters affiliated with the Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, were killed on Monday in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank at the hands of IOF troops, medical sources reported.

They said that medical teams went to collect bodies of two Palestinians in northern Gaza, near the Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing, and found out they were of a 19-year-old young woman and a 24-year-old man.

An IOF spokesman said that the two Palestinians tried to approach the Erez crossing pretending to be civilians then opened fire at the soldiers who returned fire killing them instantly.

He claimed that weapons and explosive devices were found in the possession of the two fighters, who local sources said were affiliated with the Islamic Jihad.

In north of the West Bank, local sources said that IOF units executed a third Jihad activist in cold blood southwest of Jenin.

They said that many IOF armored vehicles spread in the area since Monday evening and blocked citizens from crossing through it.

Medical sources in Jenin government hospital said that Fawaz Freihat was hit with two bullets in the abdomen and shoulder and that he was handcuffed, which pointed to the possibility of his execution after his arrest.

IOF sources alleged that Freihat was killed in clashes with its forces.

Meanwhile, local sources in Nablus city said that IOF soldiers kidnapped 8 Palestinians including a young woman in the city and its refugee camps earlier Monday after storming homes at the pretext of looking for wanted activists. On Sunday the IOF troops rounded up 21 Palestinians in various West Bank areas.
