IOF troops storm homes of two martyrs, kill Palestinian teen

The IOF troops killed an 18-year-old Palestinian in Beit Ummar village, Al-Khalil district, on Friday and wounded two other young men during an attack on the houses of two resistance fighters who were killed in the Thursday raid on the Israeli Gush Etzion settlement located to the south of occupied Jerusalem. Medical sources reported the death of the teen, Mahmoud Awad, a high school student, after sustaining several gunshot wounds in his abdomen and chest.The IOF troops also seriously wounded Mousa Abu Maria, 19, in his eyes and ears and Abdullah Selimi in his head. Both were rushed to the national hospital for treatment. Palestinian local sources reported that the clashes with the IOF troops broke out after they stormed a condolence reception held in a Palestinian house as well as the houses of Qassam martyrs Mohammed Sabarnah, 21, and Mahmoud Sabarnah, 20, who were identified as the resistance fighters who launched the "Gush Etzion operation", which resulted in the injury of six Zionists. The sources added that the IOF troops, after ransacking the two houses, kidnapped all members of the two Sabarnah families. For its part, the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, claimed its aforementioned fighters" responsibility for carrying out the Gush Etzion operation which led to the injury of six Israeli soldiers and settlers and the martyrdom of the two fighters. |
