A Palestinian child was wounded on Sunday when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) fired at residential areas in the central Gaza Strip on Sunday evening.

Muawiya Hasanein, the director of emergency and ambulance in the health ministry, told the PIC that the IOF machine gun  injured  14-year-old Yousef Al-Atrash.

IOF soldiers have recently escalated shelling and firing at Gaza's border areas in a bid to terrorize the inhabitants into evacuating their homes.
