Unjust recommendations for collective punishment against Muslim students
The suggestion came regarding alleged actions taken by a few students who were arrested for criticising Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren during his speech at the university's premises in February.
The disciplinary report argued that propagating murder was unacceptable stressing that it was neither suitable nor appropriate to regard it freedom of speech.
Reem Salahi the group's attorney argued that it was unfair to suspend an entire Muslim Student body punishing it for the action of a few describing it as collective punishment. She claimed that it was disappointing that the report cited internal Muslim student union agendas which accused them of planning a disturbance.
