Dr. Mohamed Saad Katatni head of the Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc, announced that the MB may run in the upcoming parliamentary elections despite differences in opinion of other political powers. He, indicated that the MB’s administrative offices nationwide have selected possible candidates to be fielded in the forthcoming elections.

Katatni confirmed that names have been submitted to the MB Shura Council adding that the final results will be announced within days.

MB leader Helmy Al Jazzar maintained that the MB members will commence work and commence campaigning activities in the constituencies which fielded nominees for the legislative elections.
