The Higher State Security Prosecution in Cairo ordered, on Monday, jailing 30 Muslim Brotherhood students 15 days pending trial, within framework of latest Al-Azhar University incidents and the unjustified crackdown that the security services launched against MB leaders, topped by Eng. Mohamed Khayrat Al Shater - the group’s second deputy chairman.

Also, the prosecution jailed Dr. Mohamed Hafez – the owner of Hayat pharmaceutical company- who was detained on Sunday dawn along with a group of owners of companies and Islamic publishing houses for 15 days pending trial.

Another 30-student group of Al-Azhar students is scheduled to appear in front of the state security prosecution today and is expected to be jailed for 15 days as well.
