A Governor Supports the NDP’s Candidate

The governor of Kafer el-Sheik, a Nile Delta governorate, charged five employees with negligence and referred them to prosecution. It is a threatening action that meant to force those employees to perjure their testimony pertaining to a legal action brought against the Moslem Brotherhood’s nominee in Qlen constituency, Abdel Aziz Khatab; in which his candidacy is called into question. The final ruling will be made tomorrow. If the court outlawed Khatab’s candidacy, it will be in the favor of his competitor, the National Democratic Party’s candidate, who is backed by the governor.
